Founded in 1998 by James R. Bognet and Jeffrey G. Kaiser Bognet Construction has emerged as one of the Washington Metropolitan Area's most respected and innovative firms. The company and its portfolio have grown quickly, and we have completed over ten million square feet in commercial interiors, along with 600,000 square feet of base building renovations.
Bognet Construction has successfully completed many projects ranging in size from a few thousand square feet to over 150,000 square feet. Bognet has completed general construction projects for some of Washington's most notable organizations such as Verizon, GMAC, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman Ship Systems, ManTech International, Holiday Inn, United Nations, Deer Park Professional Center, Chemonics International, and The Wilderness Society.

The relentlessly proactive process begins when we first learn of a project. Bognet studies bid specs carefully, looking for potential issues before we ever bid a job. Our Estimating process is specifically designed to look ahead for potential issues. We study drawings in detail, ask lots of questions and see things that other firms miss.
The relentlessly proactive process continues with Bognet's Project Management Team. We have developed a special process to identify long lead time items and develop contingency plans in advance - just in case an item on the critical path is delayed. We work to make sure that our client never has to wonder what is happening with their job.
Bognet's Superintendents are on the front lines, and are therefore essential to delivering a quality project. Our Superintendents are specially trained to be relentlessly proactive to ensure that projects are delivered on-time. We also hold our subcontractors to this same standard.
